Carolyn Humphrey has more than 15 years of demonstrated consulting experience with a broad range of clients in business and industry, higher education, and healthcare. Her expertise is in providing customized leadership development and learning solutions on an individual, group and organizational level. Combining her background in counseling psychology and organizational systems, her areas of specialty include executive coaching, team effectiveness, psychological assessment, and the design of innovative and sustainable leadership development systems and programs.
In addition to working with Leadership Alliance, Carolyn is Senior Faculty for Lead21, the national leadership program for land-grant Universities and Lead Faculty for the national Leadership for Academic Nursing Program for the American Association of Colleges of Nursing.
Carolyn completed a B.A. degree in Psychology and Anthropology at Emory University and a M.A. degree in Counseling Psychology at the University of Minnesota. She received her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in Organizational Development from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
Prior to becoming a psychologist, John worked as a writer and editor in Europe. His primary areas of focus were travel, leisure, and recreation.
John is a licensed psychologist in the state of Illinois. He received his master’s degree in Psychology from Roosevelt University and his doctorate in Psychology from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
