Punita’s keen sense of integrating people dynamics with business strategy has helped many industry leaders achieve their talent goals.  She skillfully utilizes her expertise as a psychologist to create successful leadership and talent development outcomes.

She has a passion for identifying factors and underlying patterns that affect employee engagement, morale, and performance, and recommending effective strategies that align company goals with operational excellence.

She has consulted in various areas including talent acquisition assessments, leadership development, selection and succession planning, executive coaching, team effectiveness, and designing innovative and customized programs for training and development.

Her key accomplishments include:

  • Developing a leadership approach called Wisdom-Based Leadership to inspire executives, management, and organizations to strive towards progress and exemplary transformation
  • Receiving the Alan Bell Ph.D. Award for Excellence in Counseling at Indiana University-Bloomington and the Most Promising Dissertation at the Academy of Management
  • Working as Adjunct Faculty at IU and IUPUI, and as a psychologist in university counseling centers such as Duke University

She has a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Indiana University with a specialization in Business/Consulting from IU’s Kelley School of Business.  She is also a licensed psychologist in the state of North Carolina.
