For over 20 years, Karen has been a trusted advisor to many business and HR leaders to help them acquire and develop top-tier leadership talent.  She has been sought after nationally for her unique ability to identify and develop high-performing C-suite executives who give their companies a competitive edge in organizational excellence.  The evidence-based assessment tools that Karen uses, combined with her psychological insight, have helped clients reduce their turnover rates, weed out underperformers, and grow their high potential into industry leaders.

She has consulted in various areas including talent acquisition assessment, executive development coaching, team building, 360-degree feedback sessions, and succession planning.

Karen founded Leadership Alliance in 1998 and, along with David Weller, has built the business to become a premier organizational consulting firm.

She holds a B.S. in Business from Colorado State University and an M.S. and Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Denver.
